The making of wax photophores

Our photophores (tea light or candle holders) are made from premium paraffin wax with a very high degree of refinement. As a result, our paraffin is food-grade and completely safe for animals and humans.

It is melted and poured at a precise temperature in order to create unique effects when the wax hardens. Effects that are visible when you place a tea light candle inside the candle holder.

We designed the metal molds, which were handmade and custom-made.

Before pouring the hot, liquid wax into the mold, we encrust various decorative elements such as dried flowers, grasses, or other decorative elements according to our creativity. Demolding and smoothing are also done by hand.

Thanks to this creation and manufacturing process, each piece produced is unique and exclusive. You will not find a tea light holder identical to yours anywhere else.


How to use

Pour a little raw rice into the bottom of the photophore and place a tea light on top of it. When it is dark enough and transparent, it will create a unique, romantic, warm and gentle atmosphere, depending on your personality.

The making of scented candles

Professional-grade vegetable wax with no additives. We use the finest soy wax available to ensure an environmentally friendly candle. 

Fragrance oils guaranteed CMR* and phthalate-free and developed by European artisan perfumers. Eco-friendly, chemically untreated wicks.

All these ingredients combined with our expertise as certified artisan wax makers and hand-poured at the ideal temperature make our 100% natural scented candles among the best on the market.
